BMW Driver Stability Control Failure? or Dynamic Stability Control System?

It's weird--my BMW 135i started driving a little funny today and then randomly a light comes up on the dash saying--something like the Driver Stability Control System or Dynamic Stability Control System (I can't remember exactly what its called right now but its along those lines) has failed; I can continue with my journey but be cautious.

I'm going to take it to BMW tomorrow; but I was wondering if anyone had that system fail and if so what happened? I'm just worried I'm going to take it in and have to pay for a load of stuff...BMW Driver Stability Control Failure? or Dynamic Stability Control System?
There are several possible causes. Most likely is probably a steering angle sensor calibration error. A minor software fix. If you're driving a 135i, it should still be under warranty. (United States?) Also, the battery didn't die on the car by chance? That can cause a loss of various calibrations and thus trigger the fault light.

You should have 4 years 50,000 miles warranty that will cover that problem.BMW Driver Stability Control Failure? or Dynamic Stability Control System?
Apparently you did not read the sales contract when you bought or leased the vehicle. Or you did not listen to the salesperson's explanation of your new vehicle warranty.

Your vehicle has both repair and maintenance warranty so you do not have to worry about paying anything (not unless the problem occurred because of an accident or driver negligence).
its under warranty-usually when the sensorsare having trouble they disconnect the system-it returns to regular driving dont worry
