Is the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Traction Control System (TCS) really that important?

I am going to buy a mazda 3 and I want to know if it is really worth upgrading just for DSC and TCS.Is the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Traction Control System (TCS) really that important?
Yes it is.................

Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) is for even safer driving enjoyment.

If there is a risk of the wheels skidding, for instance, the brakes are applied selectively to each individual wheel, whatever the surface or weather.

This enables DSC to stabilise the vehicle in milliseconds and ensure optimum tracking. The latest-generation DSC also contains extended functions in addition to the integrated ABS and Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) systems.

Traction Control System stops one wheel spinning when other is spinning , on slick patch for example .it directs power equally to drive wheels to keep you moving with out sliding................Is the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Traction Control System (TCS) really that important?
It is the most awesome invention. I'm old school and remember how to steer in the event of a skid. We don't have to fight that fight anymore thanks to this invention. However beware it makes brake and transmission problems cost 2x as much as regular ABS anti-braking systems.
Don't know how much these options cost but if you want it to handle good I would get it.
