The woman is in control of the r/s in the beginning, she's the one to set her boundaries and draw a line as to just how far she will go. If a woman gives in to a guy's persistent demands, then there will be a ';shifting'; between them. She cheapened herself, gave in to him and now she doesn't have any leverage in the r/s.
